First you need to make sure you meet the requirements for set up. You must have a paid Standard MailChimp plan and your contacts must syncing to MailChimp to the correct audience group (Prospect, Lead, Client). If you’re unsure about this, check with your scheduling software or MailChimp Customer Support.

What will I have to do?

You’re not completely off the hook. We will need you to complete a thorough sign up form and onboarding call. The form should take you about 10 – 15 minutes to complete and the call will last about 30 – 45 minutes. We’ll discuss your branding options, discount options, and confirm we can access your MailChimp account to get started.

Journey Package Options

Client Journey

This journey starts off with a custom crafted welcome email followed by 12 (one per month) engagement or upgrade emails. This series solicits internal satisfaction, feedback, and public reviews, shows appreciation, asks for referrals, and suggests upgrades.

Prospects & Leads Journeys

In this journey campaign, they’ll start off with four nurture emails to convert the first month. These first four emails take them through getting to know and trust your company. Then they continue on with a monthly offer email. The monthly offers entice them to book a Deep Clean and save.

U.S. Holidays

This journey includes the following 11 US Holidays: New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
You can exclude any you do not wish to send. Each email is customized with your logo and company information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this be set up with a different email software?

Currently we are only working with MailChimp. We will possibly add more at some point.

Can I get the journeys if I don't have a scheduling software yet?

Yes. we can set this up ahead of time and you can leave it turned off until you’re ready. There is a toggle on/off for each journey, so it’s super easy to turn them on. We do recommend you make sure you get a scheduling system that supports automations to sync and update contact status based on status in the scheduling software. You can update your contacts manually, however, if you miss an update then a recently converted client may still receive the lead emails.

Can I get the journeys if my scheduling software doesn't update contact status automatically?

You can edit the status of your client or lead manually, but that is a lot more work. We recommend you have the automation for your scheduling software to update the contact status in MailChimp. If you do not have that, then some contacts may receive emails that are not applicable to them. i.e. If a lead becomes a client, you need that status update to move them to the correct journey. 

Can I have the journey set up on the free Mailchimp plan?

No. None of the journeys we build will work on the free plan. The automation required for journeys is in the Standard plan MailChimp offers.

What if i don't have leads and prospects separated?

If your leads and prospects are not separate, you can still use the journeys. We’ll exclude one of the two separate starting points so it doesn’t matter if they were given a quote or not.

What is customized in the journeys?

Each email in the journey is customized with the following:

    • Logo Header – You’ll be given the choice from multiple options of how your logo will appear in the header of each email.
    • Company Info – Your company phone number, url, email, Facebook and Instagram links, and review links will be added.
    • Discount Amounts – You can choose to have us edit the discount amounts for each email that offers a discount, or you can keep the ones in the template.
    • Upgrades – For the client emails, you’ll choose three upsells to suggest to them in the series.
    • Services – We’ll list the services that you offer and can link to a Scope of Work for each service if you have one digitized on your website or elsewhere.
    • Aesthetics – Buttons will be customized to your branding.
Can I customize the schedule of the journey I purchase?

We set the emails up on the schedule best suited for client and lead engagement for this industry. If you would like them edited, you can either edit them yourself in the journey afterward. If you would like us to edit the journey, there may be an additional fee.

Do I get to pick the images for the emails?

All of the emails have high-quality licensed images in them. You can request they be changed for other images, but there may be an additional fee.

What if I want a bundle not listed?

Just shoot us an email and tell us which journeys you want and we’ll give you a bundle price.

What if I want the templates but can customize and set them up myself?

Email us at support@rescuemymaidservice.com and we will give you pricing for the email templates you’d like to purchase.

What is your refund policy?

You can request a full refund until your onboarding call or 14 days, whichever occurs first.
